It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burton Dean McGarvey (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Burton leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Burton may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Burton Jude and Lucy Ann; his parents, Lynda McGarvey and Timothy McGarvey (Sharon); his sister Jessica Hoffman; his brother-in-law Troy Hoffman; and his nephews, Aiden Holden Hoffman and Jackson Schiebout Hoffman.
