He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Briggs and Leah Briggs (Teed). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Brenda Briggs, Wendy Curry (Louis), Jason Briggs (Kelly), Mandy Gaffner (Matthew), Theresa Bagley, Ken Leach (Deanna), Mark Prange (Valarie) and Tena Prange; and his sister-in-law Louise Briggs. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Grand Rapids International Fellowship (3765 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508).
