It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol R. Beernink of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Buffinga and Catherine Buffinga (Wiersma); her husband John Beernink; her daughters, Kristin Beernink and Lisa Pacillo (John); her grandchildren, Emma Soda and Aidan Soda; her stepgrandson Skyler Pacillo; and her siblings, Bob Buffinga (Bev) and Marilyn Buffinga. She was also cherished by extended family and friends.
