Carole Spaulding Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2025, at the age of 82, Carole Spaulding (Grand Rapids, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Fries and Edmund Fries; her husband Danny Lee Spaulding; and her siblings, Mary, Gerald and James.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Mellon (Keith), Lisa May, Todd Spaulding and Patrick Spaulding (Lynn); her grandchildren, Barbra, Justin, Josh, Shea, Madison, Harrison, Sophia, Ian and Grace; her great grandchildren, Justin, Jayden, Jonah, Elijah, Olivia, Catilya, Willow, Easton, Jazzy, Charlotte, Joseph and Arthur; and her brother Edmund Fries.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home (3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church (750 Gladstone Dr SE, East Grand Rapids, MI 49506).
