It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine (Kay) Schneider (Grand Rapids, Michigan), born in New Era, Michigan, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wybenga and Agnes Folkema Wybenga; and her husband Lee Schneider. She is survived by: her siblings, John, Richard, LeRoy Wybenga, Clara Veeneman and Wilma Van Duinen; her close friend Al Koning; her children, Bill Schneider (Bette) and Sue Schneider Hasseler (Ken); her grandchildren, Nate, Paul Schneider, Jon Hasseler (Mallory) and Kaitlin Levenstrong (Peter); her great grandchildren, Lael Schneider, Lewis, William Hasseler and Caspian Levenstrong; her siblings, Ray Wybenga, Ann Rood and Agnes Joan Wybenga; and her close friends, Kate, Taryn and Tate Freyling. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
