He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl and Ruth (Mckenzie); and his siblings, Earl, Frank, Gerald, Harold, Sally and Mary.

He is survived by: his spouse Janyce (Poll); his children, Scott (Melody), Kimberly Hunt (Philip), Gregory and Pamela Sly (Mark); his grandchildren, Crystal, Charlie (Bianca), Jacob (Chelsea), Paul (Dani), Rori (Martin), Chance, Andrew, Hannah, James, Reagan and Alex; his great grandchildren, Kyli, Lance, Amari, Avery, Ryder, Charlotte, Castillo, Emmett, Addison, Tristan, Easton, Everett, Walker, Camdin, Miles, Meka, Lincoln, Alaia and Maverick; his stepsons, Mark Kerkstra (Cheri), Brett Kerkstra and Todd Kerkstra (Janice); his stepgranddaughters, Andrea Bohez (Paul) and Dr. Steffany Straight (Ryan); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Owen, Issac and Abigail Straight; and his siblings, Ardeen, Theresa, Kenneth and Gary.
