He is survived by: his children, Marc Carlson (Janet), Martha Carlson (Gary), Paul Carlson (Julie), Katherine Carlson (Bryan Jungwirth), Jennie Carlson Ekkens (Jon) and Sam Carlson (Maggie); and his grandchildren, Max, Alex, Rex, Benjamin, Hannah, Kristina and Shay.
