With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Johnson (Grand Rapids, Michigan), born in Holland, Michigan, who passed away on December 17, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Carole; his daughters, Anne Elizabeth Smiley (Henry Kohn), Christine Smiley Racine (Ryan) and Aimee Johnson Dekker (Jim); his siblings, Bob (Cathy), Steve (Pat) and Beth; his grandchildren, Josh, Henry, Jillian, Isabelle, Bradley (Emma) and Nicole (Andrew); and his nieces and nephews, T. J. and Alex.
To honor Charlie's love of fishing and hunting, donations may be made to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) in his memory.
