He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sr. Langeland and Winifred Langeland (Van Timmeren); his wife Bernice; his son Scott Langeland; his brothers, Fred Jr. (Shirley Langeland) and Vernon (Phyllis Langeland); and his grandmother Becky Katsma (Bob).
He is survived by: his children, Karen Langeland, Julie Howe (Kim) and Dan Langeland (Joan); his daughter-in-law Brenda Langeland; his sister Norma Kloet (Bernard); and his close friend Joan Elzinga. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
