Clara Borgia Obituary
We announce the death of Clara Borgia (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 90. Clara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Borgia; her son John Borgia; her grandson Alex; and her sisters, Santina Viventi (Romeo), Teresa Borgia, Erminia Borgia and Camella Sciamanna (Emereno).
She is survived by: her children, Chris Dykhuis (John), Frank Jr. Borgia (Jenny) and Tom Borgia (Ellen); her grandchildren, Shelley Parsons, John Borgia (Jenna), Ron Pikaart (Stacey), Ryan Borgia, Chad Borgia, Tommy Borgia (Amber) and Joe Borgia; her great grandchildren, Alexus, Haeleigh, Jayla, Emma, Carter, Chase, Landon, Tate, Jax, Selah, Arlo and Jasper; her great great grandchildren, Josie and Cruz; and her friends, Sally Norton and Char Sciamanna. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish (2230 Lake Michigan Drive NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
