She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Stiles and Suzanne Kessler (Barnes); her husband David Vance; her son Michael Vance; her brother Orville Stiles; and her stepgranddaughter Terry Lynn Vance.

She is survived by: her children, Maria Gardner (Joe), Merle Vance and Kaylee Vance; her stepson Terry Vance (Sandra); her grandchildren, Isaiah, Samantha and Michael; her stepgranddaughter Brooke Omstead; and her siblings, Eugene Stiles (Kim), Exa Moore and John Stiles. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or given to the family to help with final expenses.
