He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Cindy Baar (Eugene), Cheri Wiltjer, Steven Hirdes (Pat), Barb Kuipers (Ron), Brenda Dykstra (Steve) and Douglas Hirdes (Kellie); his brothers, LaVern Hirdes (Sadie) and Ronald Hirdes; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Hirdes and Lorraine Prins. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church (7171 Willard Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Clifford may be made to World Renew or A Christian School of one's choice.
