She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Doublestein (Kalbusch). She is survived by: her husband Robert McDonald; her sons, Charles McDonald (Kimberly) and Brian McDonald (Ann); her grandchildren, Celia, Evan, Cypress and Laurie; and her brother James Doublestein (Diane). She is also survived by numerous cousins in her extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Allenspark Community Church (16 Washington St, Allenspark, CO 80510).
In lieu of flowers, Colette would appreciate a donation to the Hilltop Guild of Allenspark, Colorado, who welcomed her and gave her a place to belong.
