He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Grant and Celeste [Brewer] Grant; and his stepfather Norvell Ford. He is survived by: his stepmother Beverly Grant; his siblings, Betty Cantrell (David), Bruce Grant (Valerie), Norman R. Grant Jr. (Esther) and Juliette Thames; and his stepsister Latanya Mcglothen (Danny). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
