He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Konyndyk; and his brother Dale Konyndyk. He is survived by: his mother Joan Konyndyk (Koldenhoven) of Grand Rapids; his children, Tanya Konyndyk of Grand Rapids and Dan Konyndyk (Allie) of Coldwater; his grandson Thayne Walters; his sister Debbie Datema (Steve) of Gaylord; and his nephews, Chad, Dustin, Luke, Eli and Sam.
