Daniel left this world on April 25, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his son Scott; his parents, Earl Donahue and Coral Donahue; his in-laws, Harold and Luella Kransi; and his brother-in-law Dale Semon.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughter Debbie Donahue-Przekop (Scott); his grandson Austin Przekop-Abel; his sister Mary Semon; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Kransi (Sandy), Roger Kransi (Debby) and Kaye Wright (Owen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
