He is survived by: his wife Terri Hecksel (Miller); his children, Jillian Hecksel, Matthew Hecksel and Benjamin Hecksel (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Christian Hecksel, Llyric Brookins, Beckhym Young, Cayden Bessinger, Owen Bessinger, Isabelle Wierenga, Avery Hecksel, Cameron Hecksel and Connor Hecksel; his brothers, Thomas Hecksel (Lori) and Gregory Hecksel (Bonnie); and his mother-in-law Elaine Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
