He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Faith (Kline) and Edward Wm Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kay Swanson (Rendak); his daughter Sara Maxwell (Thomas); his grandchildren, Cole, Samantha and Olivia; his siblings, Janet Applegate (King) and John Swanson (Nancy); and his siblings-in-law, John Wittenbach, Cristine Johnson (Ronald) and Cheryl Rendak. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
