He was predeceased by: his parents, James Taylor and Helen Taylor (Sobel); his brother James Taylor (Rose); his parents-in-law, Sophie and Joe Dochod; and his in-laws, Stanley Saganski, Jim Courtade, Lucia Taylor, Jerry Staley and Mary Ann Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his daughter Mary McCarthy (Michael); his grandchildren, Saoirse, Deaglan and Caoimhe McCarthy; his siblings, Sharon Knapp (Robert), Phyllis Saganski, Connie Anthon (George), Jeri Holzgen (Denny), Thomas Taylor, Chris Taylor (Lisa) and Mary Ellen Staley; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Dochad, John Dochod (Barbara Joan) and Sam Joseph. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in memory of Dan may be made to Reed City Crossroads Car Club, the funds are designated to the new Veterans' Park to be built in Reed City, or to St. Clement Health Care Center to help support the Redemptorist priests' care.
