With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Wayne Allen (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on October 29, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Allen; his son Scott Allen; his parents, Vernon Allen and Eldora Allen; his brother Tom Allen; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Allen.
He is survived by: his pet Gunner; his children, Jody Lavery (Edward), Cindy Stuart (Charlie) and Kim Tomasik (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Trevor Lavery, Paige Lavery (Joe), Nate Stuart (Kim), Nikki Potratz, Ethan Tomasik (Sarah) and Shelby Tolan (Jake). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Arthritis Foundation or The Alzheimer's Association.
