Dave Bouwkamp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dave Bouwkamp (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dave Bouwkamp to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bouwkamp and Gertrude Bouwkamp (Nyholt). He is survived by: his friend Jan; his wife Mary Hollander; his children, Dave Bouwkamp (Shawna), Jeff Bouwkamp (Brenda) and Jennifer Kole; his grandchildren, Dylan Kole (Beca), Alexis Kole, Austin Kole, Morgan Bouwkamp (Kevin McConnell), Kendall Shanahan (Jim), Anna Bouwkamp, Samantha Bouwkamp, Bryce Bouwkamp, Brady Bouwkamp and Kayden Bouwkamp; his siblings, Nancy Hoekstra (Gerald), John Bouwkamp (Nancy), Joyce VanDongen (Chuck), Roger Bouwkamp (Carol) and Tim Bouwkamp (Jane); and his in-laws, Jan Hollander (Carol), Joe Hollander (Anita) and Tom Hollander (Ena). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
