He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bissard and Margaret Bissard; his wife Danne Mae; his granddaughter Nikki Thompson; and his brothers, Wolford and Norman Bissard (Dolly).
He is survived by: his son David; his friend Toby; his sister Danne Mae; his children, Mari Jo Thompson (Dan), Jeannie Wolbert (John), Kathy Hawkins (John) and John Bissard (Debbie); his grandchildren, Johnny Wolbert, Justin Wolbert (Shawna), Katie Thompson, Benjamin Hawkins (Rebecca), Mary Margaret Boarts (Jonathon), Stephanie Martin (Ryan), Jessica Bissard (Eric Davilla), Kristen Bissard and Anna Bissard; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Hoekstra. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
