He was predeceased by: his mother June DeBoer (Buteyn); his father-in-law Allen DeVries; and his grandparents, Casey, Emmeline Buteyn of Oostburg, WI, William and Dorothy DeBoer of Berwyn, IL..
He is survived by: his father William DeBoer (Alvina); his wife Beth (DeVries); his children, Rachel DeBoer, Sarah, Scott Steenwyk, Andrew and Kailey DeBoer; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Selah, Benjamin Steenwyk, William (Liam), Lincoln DeBoer, David, Liam and Benji; his sister Susan Zwier (Rodney); his mother-in-law Jean DeVries (Allen); Mark DeVries (Michelle) and Darryl DeVries (Shelli). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was the COO of Executive Air Transport/Tulip City Air Service until he left the workforce in early 2020 just before the Covid-19 outbreak began.
