It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Henry Van Dyke (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Dyke and Irene Van Dyke; and his wife Janet Koopman Van Dyke. He is survived by: his son John Van Dyke (Nicole); his grandson David; his brother-in-law Leroy Koopman; and his close friend Marianne Gritter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Reformed Church or to the Grand Rapids Symphony.
