With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Lee Homant (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Homant and Lucy Homant (Sturm). He is survived by: his wife Krystine; his children, Jackie (Mitchell), Ben Homant (Christina), Dan Homant (Jessica), Gabby Homant-Schimp (Austin) and Alivia Homant (Zac); his grandchildren, Ella, Eli, Gavin, Triston, David, Ryan, Finn and Paxton; his siblings, Tony Homant (Deb), Kathy Gahan (Joe) and Paulette Bockheim (Buck); and his sister-in-law Trish Homant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of David may be made to Kid's Food Basket.
