He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice May Kowal (Mursch) and Bernard Dale Kowal; and his brothers, Bernard Jr. and Michael Kowal. He is survived by: his children, Tasha Ver Strat, Dustin Kowal (Taylor) and Gideon Kowal (JoAnna); and his siblings, Mary Conner (Robert), Greg and Mark Kowal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
