He was predeceased by: his parents, Achilles Despres and Irene Despres (Young); and his siblings, Phil, Margaret (Johns), Bill and Andre.
He is survived by: his wife Helene; his children, Jeanne Despres (John Richards), Paul Despres (Mary Frances) and Dan Despres (Lois); his grandchildren, Sarah Meyer (Matt), Andre Despres, Julia Barksdale (Tim), Danielle Manor (Avery), Justin Crawford, Joe Despres (Catherine) and Mike Despres; and his brothers, Tom Despres and Daniel Despres (Kathleen). He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
