David Ridout Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2026, David Ridout (Grand Rapids, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ridout and Nettie Ridout; and his brothers, Walter and Albert. He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Aletta); his children, Laura Meek (Steve), Eric Ridout (Julie) and Julia Lindeboom (Scott); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Danielle, Noah, Anna and Rikki.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Belmont (6390 Belmont Ave NE, Belmont, MI 49306).
