He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary; and his daughter Joan. He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Judith Stolz, John Tanner (Nadine) and Joy Coffey (Dale); his stepchildren, Wayne Schmidt (Jan), Julie Carroll (Mark) and Greg Schmidt (Holly); his siblings, Dean Tanner (Wilma) of Illinois, Donald Tanner and Reba Kopka; and his sister-in-law Lois Tanner. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
