He was predeceased by: his sister Heather Burkett. He is survived by: his parents, Charles Burkett (Aloha) and Florence Burkett (Peterson); his son Dennis Burkett II; and his siblings, Virginia Hapner, Marilyn Buzard (Jim), Anthony Burkett and Christopher Burkett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
