He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Jingles (Sturgeon); his daughters, Carenda Burress and Jessica Lockwood; his stepchildren, Becca and Brad; his grandchildren, Adriana, Marrion, Reagan and Richard; his brother Duane Jingles; Braylee, Elias, Camila, Malakai and Wynter.

Denis succumbed to Alzheimer's after his diagnosis less than 10 years earlier.
