He was predeceased by: his children, Comstock Park and Tyler De Mey; and his mother Judi Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Sarah De Mey; his children, Neal De Mey, Emma De Mey and Kalie Schmidt; his grandchildren, Nora, Annalise and Jaedynn; his father Doug De Mey (Patricia); his mother-in-law Wana Hughes; his sister Dawn Detra; his siblings-in-law, Naomi Younglove (Sam), Rhoda Smith (Hardy), Yvonne Hanson (Scott) and Gene Hughes (Michelle); and his uncle Don Miller (Deb). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his many friends.

Memorial contributions can be directed toward the family for an Education Fund for the De Mey Children.
