He was predeceased by: his wife Lois; his sister Nadeen; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Sandin, Ralph Edward Boeskool and Elaine Haglund.
He is survived by: his children, Tenda, Rod Tjoelker, Barb, Roy Zuidema and Laura Palsrok; his grandchildren, Elise and Matthew; his pet Shortstop; his sisters, Sharon Boeskool and Brenda (Craig DeWind); and his brother-in-law Wally Haglund. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
