She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Heemstra (Timmer) and Henry Heemstra. She is survived by: her husband Fredrick W. Geers; her siblings, Joyce Rietema, Nancy Ondersma, Carole Faye Korhorn, Hollis "Duane" Heemstra and Henry Timmer "Tim" Heemstra; her siblings-in-law, Mary Heemstra, Kenneth Rietema, Ivan "Bud" Korhorn, David Ondersma and Robert Pastoor; her nephew Roderick Korhorn; her close friend C. R. Waller; her sisters-in-law, Jane Heemstra and Evelyn Pastoor; and her friend Roselle Ezinga.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Protestant Reformed Church (2800 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506).
