She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Perry and Rhea Perry; and her husband Milton Briggs, Sr.. She is survived by: her brothers, Lawrence (Genevieve), Vinton (Peggy) and George (Ruth); her son-in-law Ted Ransbottom; her children, Kristi Ransbottom, Milton "Butch" Briggs, Jr. and Kevin Briggs (Becky); and her grandchildren, Staci Hendershott, Kari Hendershott, Tim Hendershott (Susie), Chris Briggs (Lindsey), Brandon Briggs (Bri) and Kelsi Briggs (Billy Henton-Lopez).
To celebrate Dee's love for her grand dogs, Farah, Askem, Vern and Pretty memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
