Dolores Hankis Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 25, 2025, Dolores Hankis (Grand Rapids, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Dolores farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dolores is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Dianne Barrenger and Roger (Pudgy); and her brother-in-law Roger Hankis. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Hankis; her children, Carolyn Quick (Donald), Jim (Carol Velte) and Brian Hankis (Sherrie); and her siblings-in-law, David Barrenger and Sandy White. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
