We are sad to announce that, on January 20, 2024, at the age of 91, Donald Dean Ickes of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Ickes; and his daughter Susan Wheeler. He is survived by: his children, MaryAnn Browley, Linda Sova, Stephen (Margaret Ickes), Angela (Don Konen), Paul (Teri Ickes), Teresa Ickes, Barbara (Mark Nitzel), Amy (Jim Lillard) and Phil Vanderbilt. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; nine siblings, with only two sisters surviving; several nieces and nephews.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. John Vianney Educational Foundation.
