He was predeceased by: his son David Alan; and his wife Martheen Mae Griffioen. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Griffioen (Sherri) and Cheryl Chambliss (Trent); his grandchildren, Drew Griffioen (Leah), Tyler Chambliss, Aubrey Doty (Kevin), Jennifer Grudzinskas (Nathan), Mark Griffioen, Martina Trann (Marty), Michael Griffioen, Trinidad Chambliss and Teague Griffioen; his great grandchildren, Landon Griffioen, Gavin Griffioen, Maya Chambliss, Oliver Chambliss, Adam Doty, Charlie Doty, Viktor Grudzinskas, Vladimir Grudzinskas, Bowynn Trann and Mylee Mae Trann; his siblings, Roger Griffioen (Margerite), Robert Griffioen (Toni), Eleanor Kamstra (Peter) and Jean Kok (Herm); and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Glenn Geelhoed, Douglas Holtvluwer (Milly) and Shirley Snoeyink (Arnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
