With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald Rosendall of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donald left this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rosendall and Lena Rosendall; and his siblings, Alice Dole, Bud Rosendall, Harry Rosendall and Robert Rosendall.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Jennie Ver Plank (Paul), Donald II Rosendall (Linda), Joseph Rosendall (Krysten), Kenneth Rosendall (Karen) and Joshua Rosendall (April); his grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Steven, Ashley, Taylor, Donald III, Jacob, Lucas, Theodore, Anthony, Cory, Lilly, Daisy and Joshua II; his great grandchildren, Audra, Dea, Amelia, Crimson, Cparrow and Finnley; and his siblings, Jim Rosendall and Nancy Siminski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Mortuary (937 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Native American Education Program, or Corewell Health Hospice.
