It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donna (Geelhood) V. VanderLaan of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Lowell, Michigan, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward; her son Curtis; her parents, Joseph and Margaret; and her siblings, Donald, Jean and Lorraine.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Burns (Chuck "Beaver"), Darla Lindeman (Jerry) and Doug VanderLaan; her grandchildren, Stephanie Montgomery (Craig), Curtis Burns, Ashley Mervenne (Alex), Brad Burns (Kait Bailey), Kaleigh Burke (Gary) and Tara Lindeman; her great grandchildren, Memphis, Raegan Montgomery, Lainey Mervenne and Brooklyn Burke; and her sister Eleanor Serne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
