She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Broekstra; and her close friend Arthur Jabury. She is survived by: her children, Michael Broekstra (LaNora), Robert Broekstra (Lin), David Broekstra (Patty) and Dana Bialk (Dan); her siblings, Don Debri (Cheryl) and Jeanne Helenius; and her sisters-in-law, Joane Nassif, Kathy Broekstra and Carole Siegel. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
