She was predeceased by : her husband Ralph; her son Harry Dykstra; her daughter-in-law Kris Dykstra; her husband Pietsje Feenstra (Jan); and her siblings, Sjirk van der Linde, Harmen van der Linde and Aagje Stelowagen (Reimer).

She is survived by : her children, Jerry Dykstra, Richard Dykstra (Paula) and Stan Dykstra; and her sister-in-law Ingeltsje van der Meulen (van der Linde). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the MKD Funeral Home (4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49508). Living through WWII, immigrating to a country where she knew no one and didn't speak the language, and living through the isolating COVID times were only a few of the obstacles Dorothy faced during her century of life.
