The memory of Dorothy Mae Fetting of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Baker and Pearl Ostrom; her stepfather Harold Ostrom; her husband Hans Fetting; her son Hans Christian Fetting; and her brother Ralph Baker.

She is survived by: her children, Katherine Fetting (Tom Dewaelsche) of Traverse City and Karl Fetting (Angela) of St. Clair Shores; her grandchildren, Connor Fetting, Elliot, Annika Bekker, Alyssa and Aerin Fetting; and her son-in-law Andrew Bekker of Ada.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (320 S Bradley St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or Samaritas, formerly Lutheran Social Services of Michigan.

“I did Dorothy's hair for many years at the Terrace Salon. I loved her dearly and will remember her and our relationship for many years. She was a delightful smart and committed Lady I adore. Her Husband Hans also sat in my chair to get his haircut. Miss them both and I'm so sorry your families loss. I heard a lot about all her family members over the year. Katherine I'm so glad she made it to your wedding. She was so excited you were getting married.”
