Douglas Feringa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Feringa (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Douglas Feringa to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Feringa and Donna Feringa; and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Pat Feringa; his children, Rob Feringa, Jeremy Feringa (Kari), Vicki Scheele (Adam) and Kurt Feringa (Kara); and his siblings, Scott Feringa (Dawn), Roger Feringa (Nancy Hatch), Karen VanHouten (Steve) and Barbara Szymanski. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Remembrance Church (4575 Remembrance Rd NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
