With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Lee Battjes of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Battjes and Evelyn Battjes; and his sister Carol Rillema. He is survived by: his wife Linda Battjes; his grandchildren, Andres Battjes, Courtney, Justin Lamer, Vanessa, Cristina, Raymond, Ardene, Ford, Vega, Jordan, Katie Battjes, Casey, John Camfferman, Chelsea and Josh Vanden Bosch; his sister Marcia (Gary Bos); and his aunt Esther Klomparens. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
