She was predeceased by: her father Theodis Herrod; her uncle Walter Lee Herrod; and her aunt Grace Stevens. She is survived by: her children, Trory Herrod of Grand Rapids, MI, Akilah Herrod of Grand Rapids, MI and Vernon Heath of Grand Rapids, MI; her grandchildren, Juniyah, Javontez, Annasti and Asanti; her siblings, Cherri, Aline, Olene, Gwen, Michael, Russell and Robert; and her close friend Jay Large. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Earlean often donated monetary gifts to Bruce Chapel a local church.
