We bid farewell to Edwin Ericson of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 14, 2025 at the age of 83. Edwin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hilmer and Ruth Evelyn Ericson (Vath); and his sister Ruth Bryant (Howard). He is survived by: his wife Lois Jane Shannon; his children, Ruth Coller (Iain), Michele' Jones (David), Eddie Ericson (Amy) and Timothy Ericson (Pamela); and his siblings, Evelyn Ericson, Margie Goeringer, Paul Ericson (Bill), Don Ericson (Alecia), Karen Plumlee and Sharon Ericson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the West Cannon Baptist Church (5760 Cannonsburg Rd NE, Belmont, MI 49306).
