She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Stuart K. Bergsma and David DeGraaf; her brothers, James (Joyce) and Robert DeFouw (Shirley); and her parents, Maude DeFouw (Kramer) and Jim DeFouw.
She is survived by: her children, Debra (Bergsma), Michael Otte, Stuart (Nancy Bergsma), Scott (Ellen Bergsma), Bryan (Stephanie Bergsma) and Steve (Christy Bergsma); her stepchildren, Jessica Gragg (Joe), David DeGraaf (Amy) and Craig DeGraaf (Kelly); and her sister Barbara Bouwman. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and their spouses; 19 great grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and spouses; four step-great-grandchildren.
