She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Deelen and Gertrude Van Deelen; her sister Marilyn Van Deelen; her daughter-in-law Kathy Bonthuis; and her brother-in-law Ken Bonthuis.
She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Tom Bonthuis (Jeanette), Deb Burke (Mike), Sue Barnes (Randy) and Pat Kremers (Dan); her grandchildren, Rachael Steenwyk (Scott), Emily Hapner (Jim), Brendan Bonthuis (Courtney), Sarah Bonthuis, Carly Garvelink (Josh), Cami Callow (Adam), Chris Barnes, Isaac Kremers, Josh Kremers and Eliza Kremers; her brother Richard Van Deelen (Janice); her sisters-in-law, Marge Bergsma (Jim) and Margaret Bonthuis; and her close friend Margaret Wallace. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
