Eugene C. Sova Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2023, at the age of 85, Eugene C. Sova of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Sova and Mildred Sova (Brunner); and his siblings, Doris Van Slembrouck (Lloyd), Frank Sova (Reva), Lorraine Piotrowski (Ed), Ralph Sova (Marlene), Howard Sova, Gloria Sova, Marvin Sova, Jack Sova (Pat), Jacqueline Waybrant, Baby Helen Sova and Steve Sova (Carol).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sova (Wojciakowski); his daughters, Michelle Needham, Emilie Rose (Robb), Angela Davis (William), Rachel Bozek (Jon) and Elizabeth Dombrowski (Mike); his grandchildren, Sam, Nate, Felicia, Abby, Mia, Kelsey, Olivia, Cassie, Ava, Will, Olen, Lexi, Jake, Maddie, Ethan and Noah; his great grandchildren, Tilly and Cal; his brothers, Jim Sova (Joan) and Harvey Sova (Barb); and his sister-in-law Judy Sova. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
We would appreciate if donations were made to the St. Alphonsus Food and Clothing Center in his memory to honor his spirit of generosity and kindness.
